Executive MBA Program Overview 

The Executive MBA program is designed for mid-to-senior level professionals who want to sharpen their leadership skills, and gain knowledge and expertise alongside other experienced professionals. The EMBA program is a part-time program*, allowing students to continue to work full-time.

Class Schedule

  • Classes are held on alternating weekends each month.
  • In-person classes are held on the SMU campus in Dallas, Texas
    • Fridays: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Program Duration

  • 21 months, spanning five consecutive semesters.
  • Start date is in Fall (mid-August).

Program Features:

  • The SMU Cox Executive MBA is ranked #35 in the nation by Fortune.
  • Students complete six electives with the option to take additional courses to complete one of eleven concentrations.
  • All class weekends include breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
