PMBA Virtual Info Session + Mock Class by Professor Shane Goodwin

    The Professional MBA program (PMBA) is a part-time MBA program designed for working professionals. Classes are held in person on the SMU campus in Dallas, Texas in the evening. *

    This virtual session (via Zoom) will provide you with an overview of the Cox School of Business, the Professional MBA program, and explain how a PMBA from the Cox School can provide you with a highly ranked business education, leadership skills and professional and career development opportunities all while you become a part of the extensive Cox network. We will also discuss the admissions criteria, the application process, and tips for submitting the best application.  

    Join a mock class from a Professional MBA program faculty, Professor Shane Goodwin, and gain firsthand insights on what an engaging classroom environment is like at SMU Cox. Dr. Shane Goodwin is the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Executive Education and serves as a Professor of Practice in the Department of Finance at The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Dr. Goodwin has over 30 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, and private equity as a practitioner, board member, and professor. Most recently, Dr. Goodwin served as a Senior Fellow and Director at the Richard Paul Richman Center for Business, Law, and Public Policy at Columbia University, a research institute established by Columbia Business School and Columbia Law School, served as a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Law School Program on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University. His research is focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and shareholder activism.
