Join us for an evening class visit at SMU Cox!

Sit in on a live MBA class and experience the learning environment firsthand! Before class, you'll connect with a member of our admissions team or a current student ambassador to ask questions, hear about the student experience, and learn more about the program. We look forward to welcoming you to campus!

Faculty Member: Dr. Yoram Solomon

Course Description:

Provides students with a disciplined framework for testing and validating new venture ideas before committing resources. Students learn to identify real customer segments, uncover and assess unmet needs, analyze best current alternatives, and design minimum viable product (MVP) tests to evaluate assumptions in the field. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based decision-making and the ability to advance, refine, or abandon ideas based on results, avoiding the common trap of pursuing flawed concepts.
