Join us for a campus visit. This visit is exclusive to Cox Graduate Prospective Students across all MBA and MS Program formats.

A campus visit day consists of:
1:30PM - 2:00PMA meet and greet with Cox Graduate Admissions
2:00PM - 3:30PMSitting in on a live class
3:30PM - 4:00PMQ&A and Touring the David B. Miller Quadrangle

Optional coffee chat or lunch with a current student (12:30PM - 1:30PM)

The admissions team will pair you with an engaging live class for the day of your visit. Course topics will vary from semester to semester. 
 

Course Description

Covers the theory and applications of risk and return in capital markets. Topics include the measurement of risk, diversification, portfolio theory, asset allocation, CAPM and APT models of asset pricing, and various measures of portfolio performance evaluation that arise from these models. Applications stress the use of portfolio theory and asset pricing models in contemporary investment decisions. Students examine the empirical evidence as it pertains to these theories and practices.
